We are thrilled to announce the completion of our very first South African Trimo installation through the massive effort of the Ohlhorst Africa Lightweight Building Solutions team, the only authorised installer for the product in the country, and Ceragran, the authorised importer. The Data Centre in Midrand was delivered within ten months, ten days ahead of schedule, with 1.5 million working hours and zero lost-time incidents!

To complete this project in this short timeline, Ohlhorst Africa LBS’s team of Trimo experts installed 5000m² of facades, 450m of parapet copings, and 3600m of flashings in a three-month period, enabling the overall project was able to meet this challenging deadline. 

Trimo products provide high-performance building envelope solutions, focusing on high-quality facades, roofs and cladding. These innovative and flexible products are fire resistant, flexible, functional, and energy-efficient, while providing beautiful aesthetics.

Due to the demanding requirements of the data centre, the Trimoterm Fire Resistant Façade Panel, a fireproof façade system that is both versatile and environmentally friendly, was carefully selected. This product provided the data centre the highest level of fire resistance, thermal insulation, durability, and water- air-tightness, while still delivering a façade to be proud of.
